What is mapwhizz?

Mapwhizz is a location-intelligence tool that helps businesses and property professionals make smarter location decisions. We provide clear, data-driven insights showing how staff travel times change between your current office and shortlisted new sites – by car, public transport, or cycling.

Pay-as-you-go gives you access to Mapwhizz one report at a time, with no subscription or monthly commitment. Upload your data, select the locations you want to compare, and receive a clear interactive report to support your property decisions.

To create your Mapwhizz report, we’ll need three simple things:

 

1. Staff postcode data
A list of employee home postcodes, ideally in Excel or CSV format. No names or personal details are needed — just postcodes.

2. Your existing office address
The current location you’d like to use as the baseline for comparison.

3. Proposed general areas or shortlisted office addresses 
The alternative locations you want to compare against your existing office.

 

Once we have this information, we can generate a clear, interactive report showing how each location affects travel time, accessibility and your team.

Mapwhizz uses data drawn from a range of governmental and other publicly available sources filtered through our proprietary algorithm to generate clear, realistic comparisons between locations. While journey times can vary due to live conditions, the reports are designed to give a reliable view for strategic location decision-making.

Your report is delivered as an online interactive report that can be instantly shared with your team or clients. You’ll also have the option to download a PDF version — for anyone who still likes things a little old school.

Most reports are generated in under 5 minutes once your staff postcodes and office addresses have been uploaded. You’ll receive an interactive online report ready to review and share almost instantly.

Absolutely! You’ll be able to add your own company logo, your client’s logo if required, and include your contact details beneath your branded banner,  making each report feel polished, professional and client-ready.

None at all! Mapwhizz is designed to be simple and easy to use: just upload your staff postcodes, add your existing and shortlisted office addresses, and the platform does the clever bit for you.

Sustainability is very much part of the Mapwhizz roadmap. We’re currently developing this feature in line with our wider green approach, and it will be released alongside other upcoming platform enhancements.
